Tip #1:
Start your auction at a low price. The minimum start price on rare4sale is $1. You cannot start your auction below $1
or a fault reset will occur when attempting to start your auction below this range. For example, 99 cents or 1 cent will create a reset fault.
Tip #2:
You are allowed to upload a maximum of 6 pictures for your auction + 1 for the gallery for a total of 7 pictures.
By clicking the "browse" button, upload a picture that will be used as a thumbnail in the Gallery and
search results pages and as a full-size picture on your auction page.
Click "upload pictures" to upload your remaining 6 pictures. These will
appear as thumbnails on your auction page.
Tip #3:
Include as much honest information as possible to describe your item. The more info you can give, the better.
This will increase your chances of someone bidding on your item.
Tip #4:
Charge a fair shipping fee. Charging a high fee may actually deter visitors from placing a bid
on your item. A good suggestion is to offer free shipping or a discount if your item
reaches a certain bid.
Tip #5:
If a visitor posts a message on your auction page, try to reply as soon as possible. Your visitors will
quickly realize that you're serious about what your selling, encouraging them to place a bid.
Tip #6:
Sellers accept Paypal, cheque or money-order as payment only at this time.
Do not accept cash in the mail or wire transfer as this can get lost in the mail.
Sellers are not allowed to ask for cash or wire transfer as payment. Buyers, never
pay with cash or wire transfer. Sellers, do not ship your item until payment has been confirmed and received.
Tip #7:
Report any fraudulent activity by sending an e-mail to the administrator at
admin@rare4sale.com and appropriate action will be taken as soon as possible.
